The Tunnel Under the World is a game based on the science fiction short story of the same title by Frederik Pohl.
The game touches upon the following themes: marketing and consumerism, moral values and the meaning of life in modern times, materialism in capitalist society, human beings in the age of technology, illusory reality, reiteration of the day-to-day life and nuclear holocaust.
